Dakota was our "baby girl" in Macey's litter.  She filled her mom and dad's lives with love, loyalty and laughter.  Sadly, due to a very sad series of events, Francine and Kevin were forced to help their little "baby girl" to the Rainbow Bridge.  Francine allowed me the honor of being with Dakota as she passed over.  Though it was one of the hardest things I've ever done, I wouldn't do it any different if given the chance.

Dakota was laid to rest in a quiet spot on our acreage.  Francine and Kevin chose to plant a purple lilac beside Dakota's grave so that she will never be forgotten...
